Writing is the way that I process my experiences and make connections. Through my writing – be it in poetry or in prose – I attempt to “peek behind the curtain” of our collective lives and strive to understand more fully what it means to be human.
In my work as the pastor of a religiously liberal and socially progressive church, I’m privileged to build and sustain relationships of deep meaning with others of diverse backgrounds, and to witness the full range of human experience. These interactions shape and inform my writing, through which I hope to make sense of the struggles and the successes of our daily living.
I live in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania with my wife and biggest supporter, Irene. We are the proud parents of two adult daughters and grandparents of three elementary-aged boys.
I hope to get to know you through these pages. Please leave a comment for me and subscribe to my website. Let’s walk this path in conversation with each other!
I’m subscribing right this minute.
This is wonderful!
I am halfway through “And the stars kept watch” and I’m so glad I discovered it. There are a couple of passages when both therapists talk that are so spot on. You must be a wonderful counselor/pastor to have written this insightful book which I am going to recommend to several people I know. I wish I lived near you so I could be part of your UU congregation. I’ll look forward to reading some of your sermons in the meanwhile.
Thank you so much, Linda!
PS. I was also in Banff in the summer of 2019. What a coincidence
